The work carried out by Theatre NEMO has received the following awards:

Lifetime Achievement Award

Scottish Mental Health & Well-Being Award

In Feb this year, Isabel McCue was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, by David Denton (Chairperson, SAMH), for sustained dedication to the mental health sector. Her work with Theatre NEMO is inspirational not only to those who use and work with it, but also to all those who work within the mental health sector in Scotland. Great Scot Award

Runner Up for Great Scot Awards

Theatre NEMO was awarded Runner Up in the Great Scot Awards by the Daily Mail in Aug 2007 and received a cheque for £250 in recognition of their work.


Butler Trust Award

The Butler Trust Award

Theatre Nemo was awarded the prestigious Butler Trust Group Award in 2007 for Outstanding Contribution to the Effective Care of Offenders, by HRH Princess Anne at an awards ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

In 2006 Theatre NEMO was awarded the Breaking Down Barriers Award by the Evening Times' Local Heroes Award, for the work carried out in Scottish Prisons.

Theatre NEMO was awarded the Community Police Award, which recognised Voluntary Services in the Community.
