Fundraising

We are always looking for ideas to fundraise we want to be able to run as many workshops and include as many different people as possible. Fundraising should be fun and there are lots of different things you can do. Please use this page as inspiration.

Don't forget to visit our Future Events page for up-and-coming organised fundraising events.

Sporting events are always a great way to get plenty people involed in fundraising. Theatre NEMO recently raised £600 and counting during a charity abseil, to raise much needed funds for designing creative workshops for the children of prisoners.

Coffee mornings are a great way to raise funds and awareness of the work of Theatre NEMO.

Ladies nights!! Take it in turn to have a party, invite your neighbours £1 entry and 10p for a sandwich and such like. it's great fun and you will get to know your neighbours better!

Ask your local karaoke pub to have a fundraising fun night? You have to pay 50p to sing-a-song and the audience can throw money into a bucket it they like it, have a raffle etc.

Donations are greatly received at Theatre Nemo and all proceeds help to fund our workshops in the prisons and community. You can download a Donation Form here.

When we started and had no funding whatsoever, we would have a raffle or sell football cards in pubs etc, which brought in about £40 every other week. This is what kept us going. It also helped us raise awareness of the work we were doing and get people to join us. We really did start at grass roots so you can be sure everyone involved with theatre NEMO is really dedicated to the work we do.
